I guess nothing. Ditch the CD's, get an ipod, fix the problem, eliminate CD clutter
Thanks for the advice...or not.
FYI I not only have a 40 GB iPod, I have over 900 cds (that I own) ripped to my laptop, and that goes with me in the car everywhere. So I beat your measly 500-some. With the new car I'll be able to just go from the laptop to the head unit and I wont have to fool around with the truly screwed-up user interface of the iPod. Thank goodness.
The "superiority" of going CD-less (in your opinion) is not the point. Sometimes I prefer the greatly superior sound quality of real CDs over MP3s. But even that's not the point. The point is, I asked a specific question, and you decided to crap on my thread with your gratuitous and unwanted "advice". I realize that this kind of behavior is a very common thing on Corvette Forum, but that doesn't change the fact that it's flat rude.
To the other posters: thanks for the replies. It sounds like it won't be a problem with this unit.
