No I think it is fine. Just switch with premium sometimes if that is what you want to do.

You cheap bastich.
The car will pull timing and adjust the FAR to compensate and reduce your performance. I will not put anything but hightest in my ride. The couple of bucks I might save just isn't worth the aggrivation to me.
p.s. Something I need to know Peter?

I tell my wife it is required even if the manual only "recommends it". The 350Z I used to have required 91 or the hills would be alive with the sounds of pinging.
Now the 20 cents per gallon is only 4.5% of the price of gas, not 15% like it used to be.
If you don't feel like buying your makeup at Wal Mart, I'm not putting 87 in my vette

only premium here - anything else would be like taking a super model to a Denny's - you just don't do it

I use the highest available not worth the few dollars yet to take any chances - also good gas and not the Walmart brand

93 octaine, if you are looking to save a few bucks, just park it for a few days but doin't do a disservice to the Vette by putting low grade gas in it.
