Default Rear widebody only..handling problems?

Anyone here have any information as to whether doing a rear widebody conversion will create handling problems ( or any other problems) because of the great difference in rear Z06 tire and front standard C6 tire sizes?

Most people who do the converstion upgrade the front tires to the Z06 size. Heck, I have Z06 size front tires on my car and even have them on wheels that are 10" wide (vs 9.5 on a Z06). 275's easily fit on the front of a stock C6.

you could always go to a larger adjustable rear sway bar to correct the balance issues that will happen.

One of the 1st to do the conversion on the forum and no problems what so ever ~ I did change my wheels/tires; 19X13 (345X30) and 18X9.5 (375X35).

What balance issues? If you are going to do a widebody, you will need to installed wider rims, front and rear most likely so they match. Z06 size front wheels and tires fit perfectly under stock C6 fenders with no issues.

I did a rear only widebody and obviously installed Z06 size wheels and tires. Looks and handles freakin awesome. No problems what-so-ever.

Having somewhat 'balanced' tires sizes is best. I run Z06 size runflats on the street with 11" rear rims and 9.5" front rims (could have gone to 10" rims on the front) on my non-Z06 paneled C6. IMO upsize your front wheels and tires while you're at it.

the only "problem" i could see would be more under-steer and larger turning radius
