Also, be advised that those option package contents change, at least slightly, from model year to model year.

The thing that always kept me from the 1LT was the lack of side air bags.

Yes. The two tone leather seats are available for both the 2 and 3LT PEG. They are not available with the 1LT as the seat hardware is different. The 1LT is only available in ebony.

They are RPO:

026 Two-Tone Int (Ebony/Cobalt Red)
316 Two-Tone Int (Ebony/Lt Cashmere)
846 Two-Tone Int (Ebony/Lt Titanium)

Different springs, different shocks, different brake rotors, oil cooler, different (softer compound) tires and different transmission gearing for first through fourth. The Z51 is born out of the Gymkhana auto crossing. The springs, shocks and tires are suited for maneuvering, the cooler is suited for high rpm operation and the gearing is suited for acceleration coming out of a corner.

so for straight line acceleration the z51 package would not be for me? I would love to have those brakes though. Also, does it ride worse? And how much extra does it cost?

Actually it is. The Z51 packaged manual transmission cars are rated to be 1/10 faster in the 0-60 from a standing start. Where it becomes questionable is in the quarter mile as you will likely need to shift to fourth by the end where in a non-Z51 manual Corvette you could hold third through the quarter.

The F55 has the same brake system as the Z51. The Z51 (all though I do not own one) is a little more harsh in the ride department than the base suspension car. The tires are also better suited for warm, dry conditions. They don't grip as well in cold or wet as the tires on the base and F55 cars. Also, the softer compound comes with a wear penalty as well. They will wear faster in everyday driving when compared to the base tires.

That is correct. For 2009, two new colors Blade Silber and Cyber Gray. The C6 front and rear emblems have been replaced with a chrome surround in place of the painted surround. The power top for the convertible is now available in a 2LT trim package. The Z06 has the addition of a new two tone interior option like the coupe and convertible and the bluetooth option is now available on the 2LT, 3LT, 4LT and 2LZ/3LZ cars. As far as standard content for comparison, little has changed for 2009.

I think I know, but just to confirm, please advise/confirm differences between 1LZ & 2LZ on the Z06's.

1LZ has no heated seats, no tele, no side airbags, no power pass seat?, right? Anything else? 1LZ has HUD tho, right?

All Z06's have HUD regardless of trim level from what I understand.
