Although I certainly recognize the name, I'm not familiar with that brand working with GM sensors. I have the Bartec tool . . . it's used to reprogram sensors to be recognized by the car and displayed on the DIC on the drivers dash.
Here's a link to a really excellent video done by one of the forum members Bez06:
I use a Schrader-Bridgeport TPMS tool (which I got from BEZ06 some time ago). Checkout BEZ06's instructional videos to see if he shows your model tool. Check the link below, do a search and checkout the FAQ's page...maybe he has more videos and information posted. If you don't see it I'd PM BEZ06...he's the resident expert on the subject.
I'm no expert but it looks like the frequency is wrong. I think the Vette uses a 125 mhz frequency but BEZ06 will know for sure.
I use the ATEQ tool since it's very inexpensive and works on all sensors instead of just the C6 like the Bartec. It's also a lot cheaper than the Bartec.

The VT10 should work just fine for you. It's advertised as a completely universal tool that will work with the sensors on all vehicles. The left button will trigger the Schrader C6 sensors, the right button works on a bunch of other sensors on other vehicles. The tool is apparently not able to be upgraded, but if you just need it for your C6 it should work just great.
Pretty much all sensors are triggered by a 125 kHz transmission from the tool. Our C6 sensors (at least the ones for the North American market) transmit to a receiver in the TPMS computer in the car on 315 mHz. I believe that reference to 315 mHz that you mentioned is for a light that will probably illuminate when the tool intercepts the 315 mHz transmission from the sensor to the TPMS computer to let you know the tool triggered the sensor and it transmitted properly. You don't need it, because during a relearn procedure you'll get a honk of the horn that will let you know the TPMS received the sensor data and logged its ID# into memory.
