Bluetooth backwards compatibility
Does anyone know if the bluetooth in the 09s can be retrofitted to the 08s and below?? This has probably been asked before but I'm sure there is a few of us who would like to know.

No, it is not backward compatible. Needs changes to the steering wheel controls, software and additional hardware. While anything is possible I've been told that this would have to touch too many places in the vehicle including the VCIM. Also required are changes to the Onstar system for the car.
Your best bet is going to be to find a good aftermarket solution like the Parrot.
