I just got an iPhone and would like to connect it to my 08 NAV system...I'm sure someone out there is doing the same and I would really appreciate any comments on the best equipment needed to connect. Thanks

I hate to ask what may seem to be an obvious question to you but you'd like to "connect it" in what way? Bluetooth for hands free operation, MP3 playback? All must be completed using aftermarket hardware, some more effective than others depending upon your needs.

If you mean you want to play music from your iPhone through the car's stereo, there are plenty of threads on that, too. There are three or four main solutions that most people are using but, in my opinion, none of them are that great.

If you mean you want to use the phone through the car's speakers (like onstar) I suggest one of the Parrot bluetooth kits. I used the Parrot CK3100 with my iPhone and it worked great. There are several threads on here about installation, etc. so you might want to search on the word "Parrot".
If you mean you want to play music from your iPhone through the car's stereo, there are plenty of threads on that, too. There are three or four main solutions that most people are using but, in my opinion, none of them are that great.
