Say, What ever happened to the fella here on the Forum that was starting production of the "Jake" chicklets. I had a few email exchanges with him, them BAM! All communications stopped!!
We would appreciate any word/information you may have on this as we'd still like to purchase a set.
Not for certain..but I think there was a copyright issue involved with those...
That's a valid assumption. Periodically, GM legal peruses the Forum (and the Interweb) looking for unauthorized commercial use of their registered trade names and marks. More than one forum vendor has been forced to cease and desist or change their marketing approach.

Maybe we should all stop buying Corvettes all together then GM? It just might be fun to see just how low your stock prices can fall don't ya think? Your fancy over billing lawyers won't ever be able to get you out of that red ink! Instead of picking on some little guy why not direct your energy to making cars people want to buy???

They cut off their own noses when they do stuff like this. You would think G.M. would want to encourage enthusiasts to get excited about their products. They should be paying this guy for promoting the Corvette.
