Forgot to mention. The tips could be a little better but they are not bad. I was thinking of having my stock tips welded on instead.

I wanted to switch to bigger Z06 tips but was told I had to buy the entire cat back... Too much to pay just to hack off the tips!

I figured I came out ok. JMO
if you paid $671 shipped u got taken, I paid $379 shipped, but as long as your happy.

I have dual tip Flowmasters on my 06 coupe. While they do sound better than stock, I think they would be a waster of money to buy. Keep saving and buy the Borlas.....that's my plan, too.

I made a mistake on the price it was $379 .Thanks for bringing that to my attention. The $671 figure was what FLOWMASTER advertized on their site when I was looking at them.

I have the single (per side) 4" tip version on my car and be aware that a huge portion of the underside of your car will be exposed for the world to see. No one makes an exhaust cover plate for the two tip FlowMaster exhaust or ever will according one of the vendors. The two tips leave spaces on the sides & of course in the middle. I got the GM exhaust plate & it looks better....but still not good.

I had Bullets on my 06 MN6...after many headaches, I switched to Flows.

Love the muscle car sound...very raw. Especially decelerating from 4th to 3rd at 115 mph on the track! Reminds me of the C6R's. A little drone at 1500-1600 rpm.

It really depends on your ears.

Just ordered the Flows! Totally psyched. I keep hearing that the clamps they come with are pretty weak. Does anyone know a particular brand of clamp to replace them with? I don't want any rattles!

The clamps work fine. They are different looking. You need to have your installer get the car (exhaust) hot after installing. Take it out for a road test to make sure nothing is rubbing or moving. Bring it back and let it cool down and re-tighten all the clamps and bolts and your good to go.

Scruff and Stray, Thanks for the advice. You're talking to the installer. I have a friend of a friend who owns an auto repair shop with 6 lifts. He's letting me use one to do the install. I've done enough work under this car with a floor jack and jack stands! Anyway, if you guys say that the supplied hardware is good enough, then so be it. If it rattles, then I could always weld the connections at a later time.

David

I have Corsa Sports on my '07, and really like them. It's not the ol' time american muscle sound, which I love, but it's more like a european sound. No drone what so ever . . . best money I've ever spent on an exhaust system.
