just laughed!!
Well some idiot in some sort of turbo hyundai blew passed me today trying to entice me to race. I just waved and about a 1/2 mile down the road a PA State trooper got him!!! He must have been doing 85 or so.

Reminds me of when I was on NB I-805 in San Diego and two new (dealer plates) ricers were racing each other, zipping in and out of lanes, etc. I thought, man, those guys are nuts.
About two miles up the freeway I drove by the wreck. They managed to hit only each other, and were both standing there in the breakdown lane, there staring at the steaming, dripping carnage that used to be two new cars.
Like the OP said, I had to laugh. Oh, and gave them a short beep, too.

Thats kind of funny. And being that I grew up in Pittsburgh, I know all about PA cops hiding.
When I bought my first vette. 95 Man-6 I drove from New York to Cincinnati. Not 1 mile into PA my Escort goes off, and I get pulled over. Even I thought it was funny. Cop laughs and tells me that radar detectors do not work.
It was a good day.

I think this is the first time I have ever disagreed with Wayne. The guy deserved a ticket, and he got one. If it keeps him from driving like a moron, paying the ticket was money well spent. Unfortunately, it probably won't.

I always slow to make SURE they see me, and then just point and laugh at them. If there is ANYTHING that I hate, it's these punk-a$$ kids in these wanna-be sports cars driving around like a scene from Fast and the Furious.

Be careful of racers in Southern Calif, east of downtown Los Angeles, usually on I 10 or I 90. They are usually young with beefed up older imports, noisy exhaust and huge rear spoilers. They try to race each other through the traffic and seem to have little brains or skill. Vette owners, just stay clear, nothing to gain or prove here.
