I've had my C6 now for 3 months now and have 5712 miles on it I spend as much time as I can driving it although its not my DD I find time after work to take a spin in it with the wife. I was talking with a neighbor yesterday and he wanted a ride so what the heck I took him for a spin I guess I have gotten used to the power more then I thought ( thanks GM )because when I went WOT ( very short amount of time ) he screamed like a school girl and took off his hat like it was going to fly away or something...I just laughed..after that he kept saying WOW over and over and over....I love the car it's one of the best things I've done for myself in years. This forum is also one of the best finds for issues with our cars so thanks to all here. Well it's time to wash and wax my 08 C6 1LT A6 QX3 npp ok XOXO

Great story, I love it when I give someone a ride in my Vette and go WOT and watch their expression as they are pushed back in their seat, with eyes wide open and give you the holy sh-t!

On Fathers' Day this year I took my daughter (she's 27) for a ride in my C5 and on a deserted road I went WOT (just up to the speed limit, honest!) and she did the usual "H*ly $#!TT !" of those who have never experienced WOT in a Vette. And that was with my puny C5 350hp. I let her drive it back home.

That's funny. It's true...we do get used to the car and its power. What does your neighbor usually drive?
I took a friend for a ride once and when I went WOT...he was plugging both his ears with his fingers.
