Does anyone have a picture of the HUD showing the NAV turns?
Sorry I don't have a picture, but on mine the HUD displays the name of the upcoming street, a turn direction arrow, and a countdown bar as you approach the turn, along with the audio cue lady talking. The other HUD data (speed, etc) automatically gets smaller so the NAV info has room. Once the turn is made, everything returns to normal size until another turn approach. I agree the NAV could be simpler but once you understand it it seems fine, I have no problems with it.

pmcvette, I have that Pioneer unit in my '07 coupe and I love it. I had the OEM unit in my vert and didn't like it. The new Pioneer NAV is an enormous step up in the systems. The voice activated bluetooth (that actually works) is worth the price of admission. I didn't pay the extra $50 for the iPod integration, because I'm probably the last person on Planet Earth that doesn't own an iPod. Besides, I can load 8megs of music on a dual layer DVD and the Pioneer plays them just fine, thank you.
My only gripe about the unit is that it takes the Pioneer literally a minute and a half to boot up and become fully operational.

Yep, that is exactly the pic I am looking for. I saw it on here once, but must not have saved it.
I am thinking of upgrading to a factory Nav unit myself. Thanks for the info, anyone have a pic of this?
That's a good question. Our Acadia guy said that the aftermarket Nav wouldn't play nice with the HUD and I was originally thinking of doing the same thing with the Vette. I'm used to the direction and distance bar showing up on the HUD and it would be a tough feature to lose.
I agree- too bad they can't provide the input to the HUD.
