There are only two major custom mat manufacturers in North America, Lloyd and Designer, and Lloyd is far and away the largest.
Stratmosphere is one of many resellers of Designer Mats. There is really no such thing as a Stratmosphere Mat.
This is from the Stratmosphere web site: "Welcome. Stratmosphere, Inc. is the premier developer, manufacturer, distributor, importer and retailer of exceptional products for Audi, Porsche, VW, Mini, BMW and other automobiles. Stratmosphere is the North America importer for Milltek Sport exhausts and V-Maxx coilover suspensions."
Their web site states that they are a manufacturer. What am I missing?

[QUOTE=RogerC6;1566935943]Lloyds are well made, look nice and can take the abuse, but mine are fading after a year and half, the black is turning bluish and I have very dark tinted windows.[/QUOTE
I want to by some new floor mats - which is better Llloyds or another brand (i once read on CF about another brand that matched better) I have a 2006 with the post connections.
On your link, I agree with you on the Stratmoshere pile...they will not mat down after time like the Lloyds. Plus, their logos are embroidered; no appliques for them.

I've had Lloyds and they are very nice. I just received the Stratosphere for my my Z and the Strats are much nicer than Lloyds Might want to find some samples to compare. You probably won't go wrong with either choice.

Just looking at Strats or Lloyds; both seem sweet.
Here's the disclaimer at the bottom of the Stratmosphere page:
The GM Official Licensed Products are trademarks of the General Motors Corporation and are used under license to Introtech Automotive, Inc. (dba Designer Mat).
And they have a designer mat logo right underneath the pictogram of the mat design.
More feedback to help a newbie make a good decision? The Strats page says that their mats "double tufted" in the heel area.
To me mats are throwaways after a few years... but a lifetime warranty (if the manufacturer stays in business more than a few years) ain't a bad deal.
