It was difficult to getting the CAGS to kick in before I defeated it on my 08.
GM really has it dialed down so it's less annoying. It maybe came on.. twice in 4K miles of driving.. try again.. I never heard of a stock cags failure before.. at least nobody ever complained about it...

Yes it is fixed now. I am able to get CAGS to kick in. All I did was I pulled fuse 10 and put it back. And that fixed the problem. Thank you C6~Missile.

Glad you figured it out. It could be annoying when you find something not working that's supposed to.
Beautiful car and gorgeous color, btw.
Now enjoy your vette!

Dan, thank you for kind words. Yes I am glad I took it off my system that I bought a defective car. Now waiting for that CAGS eliminator to come.

Do yourself a favor and eliminate the CAGS feature in an easier way. Use the new "glows when it blows" fuse on the number 10 fuse. My motto has always been to "keep it simple". Do a search for LED CAGS and read about it.

SSTEVEGS thank you for your comments. I just completed the procedure and eliminated CAGS by putting a broken fuse with integrated 2.4KOHM resistor. The skip shift light comes on as it should but solenoid does not work, so you do not have to go to 4th.
