I love HRE's not sure about the 542's though... Also I don't like black wheels on a black car. I like 545's

I think red painted caliper would look nice on there?

Ultimately, only you can decide if they work for you or not. Those might not have been my choice but they certainly don't look bad. I agree with Tom_Slick, maybe painting the calipers would help. Perhaps matching the red on your hash marks would pull it together?

I've never been a fan of the 542's......always went with 547's.
