C6 Resale Question

I know this has been asked before but I can't find the thread.

Is the resale on a C6 easier for an automatic or 6 speed transmissiion, or is there no difference?

The majority of vettes sold are automatics... so you would have a larger audience for the autos... but there are plenty that would want the manual also... it only takes one buyer...

Last time I looked at the Book, they deducted money for the automatic, even though it cost a bunch extra when new...

I think the Auto will sell better because then the wife (girlfriend) can also drive it and it can make a difference whether the guy get the C6 or another car.

Similar to what all have said previously - it really depends on what that single buyer is looking for. I HAD to have a manual when I purchased mine - that was actually my #1 criteria. Color was second.
