I average 16.5 to 17.5 if largely in town. I have seen 27 Average on highway alone. Remember, the Average is a different readout on the DIC then the "Instant" which, largely, doesn't mean much to me, but it sure does impress the civilians! My average seems to be 1 MPG off (low) when using mileage/fuel fill up method.

My short commute and stop and go hurt the gas mileage in city, but gas mileage from the tune is hurt by the trans holding in lower gears much longer. A lot of my time is spent between 35-41 MPH where the trans stays in 4th gear intead of the normal 5th. I have to manually change to 5th at that speed/rpm range.

18 MPG...daily driver.

Anyone posting over 20 mpg is taking it easy on the pedal and/or all highway driving.

I know because I ran it super easy for a tank and got 22 MPG (daily driving to work) but I didn't have as much fun as I normally do.

ALL highway mileage I'll get 26-28 MPG, but any sitting in a drive-thru or in traffic will kill this number.

Oh, people should post their "Average Speed" according to the DIC. Mine is usually 29-30 MPH @ 18 MPG.

I agree. I think many of these posts are BS. I also would like to know what some people consider "around town" or "city" . Maybe some small town in Idaho means city to them, but to me a city means a real city with lights at every block.
I live in a suburb and get about 17.5-18.5 in the suburbs ( and have no fun with the vehicle) and about 28 if I stay strictly on highway.

I guess some people focus on the DIC and always drive for better gas mileage, but why drive a Vette if you have to drive like that?

If you go by your computer you get one answer. If you go the old fashion way fill up tank and run to empty then divide your miles traveled by gallons used you get a different answer.
