Spend the extra and get the Passport Max!! I have the 9500ix and the Max and the range on the Max is MUCH better. I ran them side by side for a month and not one time did the 9500ix beat the Max. Im dont doubt the 9500 at all and i still use it in my other car everyday but 2-3sec is a lot of time to slow down to save your butt! just my 2 cents.

I read the reviews on the Max and almost half of them complained about white out in the sun. If that is true it would be almost useless with the top off? Otherwise it has nice features. Your thoughts?
