Default Corvette Code Reader - Question

I want to get a code reader for my Z06 so that I can check codes and cancel that check engine light that comes one once in a while due to my Cam... Do you guys recommend one...?

I found this one:

That one should do the trick. Here is another that several forum members have used. As long as it is CAN BUS capable it will work. About halfway down the page $59.99.

Wouldn't you want to correct the problem that causes the CEL instead of just hiding the code? In any event, I've got an Innova 3110 code reader which I like. From their web site....

Powerful OBD2 tool quickly reveals "Check Engine" light warnings on any 1996 and newer car, light truck or SUV - Foreign and Domestic

Features unique patented all-in-one screen and LED display for quick State Emissions readiness check and drive cycle verification

Automatic refresh updates data every 30 seconds when connected to the vehicle - an easy way to verify repair completion

Retrieves OBD2 DTCs: Generic Codes (P0, P2, P3, and U0) / Manufacturer Specific Codes (P1, P3, and U1)

Communicates with all OBD 2 protocols: C.A.N. (Controller Area Network), ISO 9141, J1850PWM, J1850VPW, KWP 2000 ISO 14230-4

Includes Spanish and French Interface & Definitions (selected by a menu command)

Displays Freeze Frame Data

Unit can be flash updated with a standard Windows® PC (OBD-PC Link(tm) software required / included with tool)

Memory / Battery backup for off-car review and analysis

My engine is fine, the Check engine light comes on once in a while because of the large Cam that I have installed...

For that purpose you can not beat the $60 Harbor Freight one.

I have the Innova 3130. I does all that the 3110 does plus it can record 15 minutes of live data that can be uploaded to a PC. $150 on Amazon.
