CCW just know how to do offsets!

Seems like there are as many opinions about tire sizes as there are on searches.

Looks like the stock setup has the tire completely inside the fender, and responses here show some flush with it. Is there any chance it could make contact? I have the F55 suspension, does that matter?

SUH-WEEEEET!!!! . Lol.
Have you had any issues with rubbing against the fenders with the wider rims/tires, or can you turn the wheel to full lock w/o any issues?

Looks great!

I ran Nitto NT05's 335/19's in the rear and 285/18 in the front no issues on factory C6 rims. Great traction and handling.

No issues?

There's no way a 335 tire on a stock 19" wheel won't hit the fender.

A 285 on an stock 8.5" wheel is wrong, a 335 on a stock 10" wheel is just as bad. I'm surprized you could find someone to mount them for you, most shops would turn down mounting those tires on those wheels.

Maybe you should get acquainted with the forum rules and drop the attitude.

I know it's hard to believe but I ran them for a year and they never touched. I did a thread on it with pics. I will post a link if I can find it.
I was told the same about the 285's on the front and they are on the car to this day.

Default Besides tires, add sway bars to F55!

What does matter besides the tires is that you need to ADD Z51 or Z06 sway bars to both ends of the car to lessen the body roll and tighten up steering wheel play. I put Z51 sways on my F55. Wayne O can even fill you in more on this subject as he is an expert on F55. Wayne O, myself, and two other CF members did experimenting with the F55 system upgrading with different sway bars like 4 or 5 years ago. It is highly suggested to improve handling greatly with the upgraded sway bars and grippier tires as we are discussing in this thread.

I have the improved CCW T10 18" x 9.5" 1" lip fronts and 19" x 11.00" 2" lip rear wheels but have the stock Mitchlin A/S tires now. The next set will be the larger rubber.

Like I said, I did it and it did not rub once. The shop recommended it to me, they do it all the time. They have 50 years of road course and ¼ experience and are a top Nitto dealer on the east coast. They even said if anything happened they would pay for any damage, so how is it wrong? Don’t be such a Lemming.

I had 325/35's on stock rims on my 2005 coupe with no problems. They were General's and they don't even make them anymore. There was a little bulge around the rim but never had a problem with them.

Any new people looking for tire size guidance take some of the above posts with a couple of grains of salt. Try http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp for closer to unbiased info.

The guys that are claiming they mounted 335 and/or 325 rear tires on a stock 10" wide rim and then mounted the tires w/stock rims on a non Z06 C6 without problems haven't convinced me of anything other than anybody can post anything.

Regardless of the fact that no shop that knows what they are doing would mount a 335/325 tire on a 10" rim. And that a 335 is almost 2" wider @ the sidewall than the stock 285 so there's an additional 1" of tire sticking out of the fenderwell.

I notice that none of the photos show the tire size or have a view from directly behind showing how much tire extends past the fender.

By all means get in line, follow the masses and drink your Kool-Aid because that is what you are told to do.

I really don't care if you believe me or not. I DID have 325's on stock rims on my 2005 WITHOUT any problems. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I can believe 325's fit with no issues in the rear, they are only 1.6 inches wider than stock only needing .8 inches on each side for clearance. Should be no issues with that unless you are lowered in the rear end quite a bit. They do recommend a rim width of 10.5 for a 325 thou but will fit on a 10 in rim
