I actually had the guards from Pipedreams on since my Vette was new and they did a fantastic job of protecting against scratches and dings and they were almost invisible, you had to look to see that they were installed.

I removed them to install the new GM guards which fit the car perfectly for style and overall flow of the Vettes lines. As I mentioned, they look like they came with car and were always part of the car. Nothing against the Pipedreams units but they don't come close to enhancing the looks of my Vette as the GM units do.

The Pipedream ones are a mud flap, the GM ones are 3D moulded and similar to the Z06 one's, very different. Protection MAY be the same but the GM one's are alot nicer and blend in better.
