Today my father-in-law and I toured the Bowling Green assembly plant, and I saw an option on ONE Vette that I didn't see on any other one today. I also can't find the option listed on the Chevrolet website.
This car had headlight washers that popped out and sprayed washer fluid. That was the only Vette I saw that had it. Has anyone else seen this option?
Yup, export model. It probably had yellow rear turn signals, and possibly (probably) yellow side marker signals just above the gill panel in the front fender.
Its actually sort of amazing the factory can keep it all straight (granted, it is not a fast-moving assembly line, but still ... lots of moving parts).

It is amazing--- each car was different. One coupe, one convertible, one ZR1, a coupe with Nav, a coupe with no Nav... etc, etc. I just can't believe everything stays straight.
That option is awesome! I saw the guy operate it 5 times. I guess its not really a needed thing, but it was cool.
Mandatory on Corvettes destined for Europe. They have the headlight washers, side marker lights and different specifications for the tail lights. That feature is not available for Corvettes delivered in the U.S.
Frankly, having seen them operate I wouldn't want them. They are more like headlight, quarter panel, hood and windshield washers and they activate automatically if the headlights are on and you operate the windshield washers.
Mercedes-Benz (and some Volvo?) cars here in the US, some have headlight washers AND wipers.
My Porsche Carrera has headlight washers - I have no idea how to operate ‘em.

Audi as well. the damn things freeze in the winter, at night when you hit your windshield washers the pop ups block the headlights a little and get kind of annoying.
