A 6 way bypass does sound like an extreme procedure. Great to see you're well enough to visit the forum.

What is interesting is that I passed a stress test given 2 years ago. Obviously with 92% blockage in one & 84% on the widow maker with the others 70% + that test gave a false reading. My doctor decided to give me a atomic stress test which is done with chemicals & more accurate than regular stress test. It showed a blockage & the rest is history. My doctor explained that a regular stress test only shows abnormalities if the whole heart is abnormal it will say everything is normal.

I passed the standard treadmill test less than 6 monsths before I had enough chest pain to require an angiogram. It showed 4 arteries 90% blocked. I get the drug induced thallium stress test every year now.
The hardest part was not being able to drive for 6 weeks,
and I didn't even have a vette then. I'm lucky to have 2 to alternate driving now. Gotta stay healthy!
Thinking about his Corvette probably helped with that!
