Default Nitto Invo's

Well I will be putting them on tomorrow decided to try something new and didn't get BFG's or PS2's. So what I want to know is if you have these tires are you happy with them? Good traction on the street? Hope I didn't make a mistake by getting these...

You putting them on your M3?

Couldn't resist. I guess this means you officially are keeping the Corvette.

I have them for the fronts and I cant complaine, very smooth ride, car doesnt feel as nervous in the turns because it absorbs some small surface imperfections unlike runflats. I will be putting these on my rears pretty soon. Oh and wet tractions is awesome! no hydroplaning!

Follow up after you've put on some miles and hit a few rain storms. I may get these after my G-Y's wear out.

I have about 4,000 miles on mine so far and they do most things very well. I know most Vette owners have never seen rain but they handle very well in the rain too

I have Nitto 555 Extreme tires on my firehawk with the 1LE option and it's the best handling tire I've had on my car since the Firehawk SZ50EP's. I know it's not the same tire but their quality seems very good.

Leading a new wave of innovation, the INVO is Nitto's new flagship ultra-high performance tire. Developed using the latest technology, the INVO's revolutionary tread design offers the perfect balance between art and engineering. The INVO provides a quiet and comfortable ride while maintaining the ability to provide tremendous traction in both dry and wet conditions. The asymmetrical, non-directional, tread design with twin water-dispersion grooves and lateral slits effectively provide wet traction while the silica-reinforced tread blocks deliver superior lateral and longitudinal grip in dry conditions. The asymmetrical tread pattern also gives the owner the ability to rotate tires on staggered fitments.

Steering Response and Traction
•Silica-reinforced tread compound reduces tread flex for excellent road biting traction.

•Tread blocks on the outer shoulder provides maximum contact patch for maximum dry traction and responsive steering feedback.

•Continuous inner shoulder tread and sipes provide improved traction under dry or wet conditions.

•Slanted 3D tread blocks reduce flex for improved cornering performance.

•Twin water-dispersion grooves effectively increases contact patch in the wet.

Ride Comfort
•Variable pitch blocks are utilized to reduce road noise.

•Pattern allows for tire rotation on staggered fitments, resulting in a quiet and comfortable ride."

The tread design was inspired by Yokohama (they assisted Nitto behind the scene). good tire. treadwear will be marginal though... but hey, who cares?

Been running on Invo's (OEM sizes front and rear although they are a bit wider than the GY RunCraps) for about two years... still loving the tire and have 'sold' quite a few by having fellow Vette drivers ride in (and in a VERY few cases drive) MR BLU and they immediately understood what I was talking about...and went out and got a set for themselves>>>

These tires look and sound awesome from the previous posts. My question is, how is the pricing on them compared to the Goodyear supercars?

Less.

I got mine in Z06 sizes (275's and 345's) for $1175 shipped to my door.

I have had Nitto Invo's (the same set even) on my C6 now for about 17,000 miles and have nothing bad to say about them.

I'm running a 255 front and 305 rear setup on the car, and have probably 50-60% life on the fronts and 30-40% life on the rears left. Compared to the 14,000 miles I could stretch out of a set of the SuperCar's.

Quite ride, grip good, work better than the GY's in the rain. I'm happy with them as a spirited daily driver.
