Default Headers

I have an 07 C6 Z51 A6. I currently have corsa sport exhaust and would like to install headers. Could anyone recommed and brand, long tube, etc. The header system would have to be compatable with the corsa exhaust. Thank you in advance.

Do a search and you'll find WAY TOO MUCH debate on this subject. It comes down to three good setups: LG Long Tube Pros, Kooks, and ARH. All of them are excellent, I went with the LG's (but don't get the street series).

Also, for a good installation (I did mine myself), I'd recommend Arizona Dynochip in Chandler.

My preference was LG Pro long tube headers. I also opted to have them coated. Another suggestion for an excellent Corvette shop is Xtreme Motorsports in Tempe...they're 'Corvette guys' and do first-rate work.

Nobody really mentions them but I really like Melrose Headers myself. However, I have a Magnaflow exhaust which I like because its not too loud but if I rev it up you can certainly tell I'm there

If you have the Corsa H pipe for the A6 in place, ( as I did ), Kooks makes headers and cats that will mate up to them. The H, in my opinion is critical to the lack of drone, and needs to be left in place. I even put Stingers on the back, leaving the H in place, and still no drone. Works great.

Really like my Melrose headers. The look as new as the day I installed them, some 20,000 miles ago.

Get a good tune after the header install and sit back and enjoy the pure music. Also you will enjoy the HP gains.

They don't have the merge collectors which gives you better torque down low and doesn't sacrifice any power on top.
