The article made it sound like the passenger was hurt a lot worse?

Here's the part of the story that really gets me disgusted:

"Investigators may file criminal charges against a driver who was reportedly speeding and may have been impaired when he clipped the back of a truck and spun out on Interstate 35E.

Witnesses told investigators that the silver Corvette was traveling at a high rate of speed in the southbound lanes when it struck the rear bumper of a bobtail truck."

If true, that's totally inexcusable.

I hope his friend recovers okay. Also I'm sure the family/friend will be suing him.

What a mess.

Seems he did a BIT more than clip the truck. He caved in the crash bar on the back

Terrible, not cool to drive any car let alone a car with this much power under the influence. I hope the passenger make a full recovery, as for the driver, I am glad he is not hurt badly but I have no sympathy for him that he has no regard for other people to drive a car under that condition. If your gonna drive dont drink, no excuses.
