I use "Touch Free" car washes all the time. You just drive your car in the bay. Put it in park and a machine goes around the car. Nothing touches your ride but water, soap and air. Does a good job of cleaning under your car too.
Wow that Ryko touch free system is the way to go. Too bad there isn't anything like that around here. I would use it for my DD and my wife's car. The Vette gets hand wash only.
With my 345's there was only one automated car wash that my car could actually fit through. It was $20.00 for a basic wash and I was worried about the car getting scratched the entire time. About 1/2 way through the wash one of the spinning wheels knocked my side view mirror out of position. Needless ot say that was my 1st and last time.
A handwash is only$29. When its too cold to wash the car myself
(by hooking up a hose to my hot water heater) I just break down and spend the $29.
Does anyone on this forum bring their car to an automated car wash? I've asked several car wash managers if my C6 will be safe and they all say "yes". Somehow, I don't trust them. How would I know if it is safe?
In the past 2 weeks, I have been through 3 of them No problem
