New Audio setup!!!

Dave at MadVette Motorsports and I finally got around to finishing up my system.

First, we completely sound proofed my car.

Then we installed two of Dave's custom fiberglass boxes that will fit a JL 10W3V3 and still allow the top to be stored.

The rest of the system includes an Eclipse 6620 head unit, Eclipse components and a JL audio 500/1. I will also be adding an Eclipse amp to power the comonents. When I buy the amp, I will get Dave to build me a nicer amp rack.

This setup is AMAZING!!!! If you just want nice loud bass buy one box and sub. If you want to blow your brains out with bass buy two of these. This thing can be loud if you turn it up.

i can't even imagine how hard that hits! congrats on the setup, it looks great. you guys did an amazing job with the soundproofing. take some videos!

You should have let me know that you were doing the install. I could have came over and tore up, I mean help with the install.

Very nice, that is a clean set up. I have a 10" W6 with a JL 500/1, JL makes some very good stuff.

Nice setup.

I need to sound proof my car. I am running two JL 8" W7's and I think my poor car is going to blow apart

. No rattles, just very load outside, even with the windows up.

No. You lose your storage compartments, but if you have Dave's Vettebin, then you can keep some storage. I also have it, and it's a great product.

With the speakers facing up is there any protection for them? I'm thinking what if something heavy was dropped straight down like say a golf bag?
BTW.. the system looks great.......... Just wondering?
