Yeah, same here, until I had the oil changed this past Friday.
I can't believe that had anything to do with the noise. Talked to the tech ( he wasn't very interested) he said it was normal and is coming through the speakers along with the normal beep? Yeah, right. Never heard it before and I'm pretty aware of any noise in my cars.
I beleive it's normal. Mine does the same thing. It has to be very quiet to be able to hear it. To me it sounds like it's just implementing your commands....tom

I have this problem on my '08. I also have the a similar and more continuous sound at low radio volumes and sometimes when in accessory mode but nothing on at all. I am bringing it to the dealer on Monday morning. I saw another thread that cited Bose amp replacement being a fix in some cases.
All of the beeps/tones you hear inside the car are generated by the radio and played through the sound system speakers after going through the Bose amps in the car. Because of this, the amps are powered on even if the radio is off, just so you can hear the warning tones.
As long as your radio isn't playing when you hear the noises, no big deal, but if they're drowning out a radio that is on, you may have an honest gripe.
I think it is a bad amp. And the most annoying is when the radio is playing softly - at the first 1-2 clicks of volume, the static is about as loud as the radio signal. I'd rather it be the amp; I don't care for them tearing apart the center console area.

The dealer (largest Corvette dealer in North Jersey) said that wouldn't fix it. The initial service writer acknowledged the problem but then the lead service man got involved. He said that he didn't think he could justify using GM's money to throw parts at it. My real beef is the noise when the radio is on. At modest volume levels, driving down the road, the noise is about as loud as the radio signal. It has got to be either an amp or the way the DIC noises/etc are interfaced into the system. No way it is the head unit. I went upstairs to the Corvette showroom and got the fob to an '09 with Bose (but also with NAV unlike mine) and the radio had no such noise.
I'm thinking about trying one more dealer.
