I've been posting since the C-6 came out and this is the first time I've seen anyone post this. Now, this was an interesting post, not a rehash of old questions asked a bazallion times over and over again!

But then again, I'd never see it out here!

I made it a point to figure out when this warning comes on. Near as I can tell it is displayed only if you start and operate the car for some period of time above 36 degrees and while driving it drops to 36 or below.

I've only seen the message at startup which is very usefull. The irony is that if you drive from a warmer climate into near freezing weather I've never seen it come on.....duh...GM.

You need to take more data. What data you have is incorrect. See the post below. Mine will come on if it's below that 36 or 37 degree mark when I first start the engine.
