Ramp Question
I made some simple board ramps sandwiching 2 x 10's together. The boards step from one to the other and I beveled the leading edges. I counter-sunk the screws holding the boards together and I put some safety/grip tape on the ramps (both sides). To get my Craftsman 2-ton aluminum floor jack (with the adaptor beam attached) under the car I need the double-board ramps for the front but I can use single board ramps for the rear of the car. My car is pretty low...when I put the board ramps in front of front wheels I have to push the rubber air dam up onto the board but they still work fine. A little grip tape helps prevent the boards from shooting-out from underneath the rear wheels.
