Default comfortability

is it just me? or are you guys having trouble getting comfortable in your c6's? i mean to tell you, i cannot be comfortable without the seat pressed firmly into the small of my back and my right foot has to be fully extended and flat on the floor in wot position. its like when i have to ease my foot up, i just get all fidgety or something. any suggestions?

It has taken me about 4 months to dial in my seating. If you are all the way down to the lowest seting try raising it up just a little then tilting the whole seat back a little. This worked for me.

This is exactly how I ended up. It's the most comfortable position I tried.

All 3 of mine have been almost as comfortable as sitting in my easy chair at home.

I'm detecting some humor in the original post, and I'd have to agree.

When the seat is firmly pressing on my spine, and my foot is on the floor, is definitely when I'm most comfortable in my C6.

Unfortunately, I don't get the chance to assume my most comfortable position often enough. WOT is extremely comfortable, isn't it?

Seats could be longer. For those of us who are over 6', not enough support under the leg. I get fidgety also at times, and other times I feel fine. Lots of opinions on the seats, and I hate to use the tired old line, but, "for $50,000, seats could be better". My 05 GTO had awesome seats, wish we could have gotten something similar (more support, more padding, holds you better in turns, longer for taller people, etc). But then again, that car could make you fall asleep just looking at it, so its all a compromise one way or the other!

No problems here took about 5 minutes to get the seat where I wanted it and good to go.

No Problems here.
I think the car favors smaller people.
I'm 5'10" 160 and it fits like a glove!!

I am 6 ft and 210 and have gotten used to the Vette seats and really like them with the adjustments I have dialed in.

At this adjustment I can carve turns and still have a comfortable setting.

I'm just a tad over 5'11" and my wife is 5'2". We've taken many long road trips (2,000 to 5,000 miles each) and we both think the Vette is extremely comfortable....even for very long periods.

***Edit...OH, Okay, I got it now!...Yes it is definitely most comfortable in that position!

I mentioned the comfort of the c6 vs my old c4 to my dear wife. Her response was " you're 10 years older GRAMPS get used to it".
You gotta love her, or at least that is what she tells me.

At 6'1" for me it's a compromise between what is comfortable & getting my head away from the "roll bar". If in an accident, god forbid, I don't want my head to get smashed against & my spine to compress because of the damn roll bar.

The seat is comfortable; it's that damn roll bar that isn't head friendly.

The compromise is a seat that is all the way down in back & just slightly lifted in front to give some bucket effect. Even then my head might just barly rub.

I don't like an F1 reclined position because I feel like I’m straining neck muscles to hold my head up & my knees hit the steering wheel, but that is a way to lower my head away from the roll bar.

In addition, the most optimum position for car control is sitting in an upright position, but then we're hitting our head on the damn roll bar again.

Definately ment for "smaller" people. But at 5'7" & 160, no problems for me...
