2006 vert worth

This does not sound right! A 2006 STILL ON THE DEALERS LOT? I can't imagine this happening. Three model years later? a 2006 Vert no matter the miles at tops is 35K I would go no more than 32K. Something is wrong with this picture. Where has this car been all it's 7 miles?
worked out in my favor though since i bought an 08 a month later for a lot less than they wanted for an 07

Now the real test ---- your money at stake.
Take the $39,000.00 @7%(good credit) for 60 months it equals a payment of $776.21 per month.
Now take a brand new loaded 08 that a dealer is discounting from $63,000.00 to 49,000.00 and factor in the 0%. This equals a payment of $816.67.
Bottom line is that there is only a $40.46 difference per month in payments and overall a $2427.60 (plus additional sales tax on $10,000.00--about $600-700) difference between an 06 and an 08 with at least 30 more hp and a full manufacturers warranty and a power train warranty to 100,000.00
These figures are based on TTand L being paid
As I said before, 34,500 max.
You have to figure your monetary input into the matter along with all the terrible depreciation on these vetts.
When you buy, there are a lot of different avenues of thought.
That's just the sign of the current economy...no body is trying to steal.

Just thought I would add a little here, a 2006 does not have a 5/100 powertrain warranty, that started with 2007 models. He can still get a GMPP on the car because it is under 36 months old and under 36K. Just added this in case 2006 model year owners now are thinking they have a 5yr/100K powertrain warranty.

For example I ran a 2005 Vert on KBB. Trade in value 27,825 to 31,925. I then ran it with NADA Black Book which the dealer uses and it came back as 25,075 to 31,120. Note the lower figure, this is what the Used Car Manager starts at then adjusts based on how well he thinks your car will sell.
Now we know Corvettes are not selling well when Dealers have them on their lots for months. Case in point, the 2006 in question here. I hope this helps because it is rough out there!

Only wanted to know what the car is worth.
