Default Late?

I did see the transformers shots from a few months ago but this photo shoot has a lot more views and pics. That is why I posted it.

I really don't care for it that much as it looks as much like a deformed Cadillac as a Corvette.

I do like some of the lines and the more squared off angles. I have a C6and I really think they could have squared off the headlights more to give it a different look. Not saying I dont like the look just needed a bit more style.

One thing I did notice is that they used the Stingray emblem a lot on the car. That emblem was also used on C6 prototypes prior to production but didn't arrive on the final car. I'd buy those emblems and put them on my black one if I could find them. I wonder if a hobby shop could reproduce them. I might try that and put them on my side scoops.

It is good to see GM with a concept even if it is a rewarmed movie car.
I sure hope those guys turn it around.

My feeling is that they are negotiating the unions down to the bare minimum threatening bankruptcy. Once they have the unions down to the bone I feel they will end up filing BK and get them down even more. Cold tactics but it is a cruel business climate right now.

It would be nice if our govt practiced balanced trade and gave our manufacturers an advantage in our own marketplace like other countries do. I guess Toyota's lobby is stronger than our own automakers.

Sorry for the political rhetoric but I'm really tired of our country getting its a** handed to it.

Since the beginning of Corvettes the models for future C generations have never been produced as is. There will be many changes to that. With GM and the economy in the tank there may not even be a 2010 model. The 2012 may be a 200 HP electric hybrid. Dont sell yours any time soon!!!

I know I am probably the only person who will say this, but I am not crazy about this concept car. It looks like a refined Corvette that took too many steroids. It almost appears that it would be impossible for some people to see above the dash or the hood. I also think it would be nearly impossible to see out of the rear window, with the split window. Too many sharp lines and no curves. That is the one thing I like about the C6 Corvette, lots of curves like a sexy lady. I do not like the treatment of the headlights or the tail lights. I think the only thing that GM could do to improve on the C6, is to put a few more curves on the back of the car.

However, most importantly, GM needs to find a way to stay in business, otherwise they don't have to worry about a C7 at all.
