Written up for 98mph (I was going 100+) on the 5 up to Sacramento at 1am. Two other cars traveling with me were also pulled over by a lone cop in a Z28.

This was in my Integra about 6 years ago. Still a perfect record on the C6. [knocks on wood]

Got stopped doing 125 in a 65 in my 911 Porsche. Trooper told me he was going to cite me for reckless driving, passing on the right and of course speeding. After answering all his questions, all the time my mind is on the fact I am going to need a Lawyer. He says you have a beautiful car here and I would hate to see it wrecked and you killed, you better take it easy, now get out of here. I looked at my Wife in disbelief and that was it, no tickets, nothing. To this day not sure why, I do know it was an unmarked car, one Trooper was in uniform the other person I assume also a Trooper was in plain clothes. I assume they were on a more important mission as the passing on the right was when I went pass them. Don't know, but this is a true story.

120 in a 45 on my 800 lbs twin cylider Chopper. 4 In the morning noone on the road but the cops. I was with a group of friends and I was the only one that stopped. I was Told to lay down on the interstate face down. Interlace my fingers on the top of my head. told to throw my keys over jersey Barrier, he has his gun drawn on me. My first arrest ever and my 1st ticket in years. He treated me like a Bank robber. Handcuffed, towed the bike, locked up in jail for night. cost me 200.00 for tow, cost me 1800.00 for lawyer, In order to get it reduced to speeding not a reckless I donated 1000.00 to Charity (M.A.D.D.) No I wasn't drinking. 250.00 court fee and 500.00 court fine which my Bail Refund check returned. I did make the paper though but not like I wanted to. I probably should of hit the Nitros and took off but that bike handles like a stone wall with 2 wheels. So I did the right thing.

I haven't had a ticket in over 25 years. However I have been stopped a few times! Yes even a LEO can get carried away with a fast car. The worst was 142 mph in my 06 C6 on the NY state thruway around Watertown, NY. I was clear, perfect road conditions and not another car in sight! It was still extremely stupid however.

Had a long chat with a brother NYS trooper (I'm CT) and all was forgiven. I know, I know it's not fair but life isn't fair. I would never do it again unless is was a completely controlled and legal environment. I can say these C6's can really do some incredible speeds....

Was doing 130mph in a 55 zone. Fortunately, I had a sense that something was down the road, so I slowed down. Lucky me...the NJ State Police had a speed trap about a mile away. Always follow your instincts!!

124 in a 65, in my wifes old eclipse. Told the cop I was in a hurry to go take a crap. He didn't buy it, still got a ticket, and license suspended for a little bit. He kept me beside the road for about 45 minutes, I think he was wanting to see me suffer.
