I am considering buying a used 2008 Z06 and sending it off to Lingenfelter and purchasing their 616hp package. I was looking to see if anyone has that package and how it performs in the 1/4 mile? In addition, how does the warranty work and is it a hassle? I am also considering buying a used 2008 C6 and doing their supercharger package, so any info on that would be great also. Thanks in advance!
I didn't use them but I flew back and visited their facility. It's awesome! I was working with the Tim Dyer the sales manager and my impression was this is a first class outfit.
The item I got hung up on was the freight to get my car back there. I ended up doing all the mods right here in town.

Good luck!
depends on the amount of money you spend, the tax you save, may pay for your transport costs. secondly, the name of the shop/tuner you ultimately choose, may hold its weight in gold as far as resale etc. name recognition is everything to most people. you probably cant take full advantage of the cars potential now, but if you decide to upgrade, superchargers are fun, and easily remove down the road. you'll need to invest about 1200.00 in a hood and paint. store your stock one, or try and get 100.00 bucks for it. good luck
My brother-in-law sent his 07 coupe to Lingenfelter for the same kit. He absolutely loves it. But he did have some initial problems with it. Within a few weeks the belt came off. They went to his house to fix it.He lives near Detroit, so Lingenfelter is only a few hours away. Seems they left a belt guide off. Then he had check engine light issues. Again they fixed it right away. But after a year and a half, all is well.
But if you are looking for 1/4 mile performance, there are cheaper and better ways to get what you are looking for IMO.
Here is an emblem that has meaning...
Absolutely 100% positive experience from the day the enclosed carrier picked up my Vette to routine updates on the work and then delivery back to my house 3 1/2 weeks later. MRBLU left clean and was returned clean...yes I had "only" the 366 package done, but with custom tuning running about 465 rwhp and a torque curve that is most impressive. Not a exotic setup but soooo driveable and when you want to get on it... well lets say it is Oh...concerning having a local turner doing the work...do you get a 36 month 36K mile warranty? and do you get the R&D? Simply installing this and that upgrade (turbo/SC/etc) is on a very different scale than a well thought out R&D process... all IMHO

The name "Lingenfelter" is synonymous with Corvette performance engineering and their well-deserved reputation is legendary. I'm extremely pleased with my naturally aspirated, built LPE motor.
It's my understanding that the great LPE warranty may be 'voided' if you race your car. This, however, is common in the industry. When I inquired about the Katech powered Pratt & Miller C6RS I was told the same thing.

I'm gonna email them tomorrow and inquire about the warranty too. I wonder how it goes with the "any mods void the powertrain warranty" part of the GM factory warranty. Anybody know?

I don't think the Lingenfelter warranty is synonymous with the GM warranty. You get the Lingenfelter one on their work and materials when you mod. And by doing so, you lose the other, I'd say, almost completely re powertrain.
So, if you didn't have Lingenfelter do work on your rear end for instance, and it goes out, you won't be collecting from anyone, but yourself. I'm willing to be told differently tho.

Nitto Invo!! Lingenfelter turned me on to those. One of many things my visit to them helped me with.
