I have an '05 convertible that I am considering installing NPP's on and I have heard that 2008 NPP's will fit C6's from 2005-2008 but not the 2009 model.
Is that a correct statement?
What is different about the 2009 NPP's?
Will the 2009 NPP's fit my 2005 A4?
Some photos of differences would be greatly appreciated if anyone has them available.
I will be removing my CALLAWAY DOUBLE D system and probably sell it on here once I find NPP's to buy for a reasonable price.
A: The 2009 do not match up to the 2008 and under h pipe
Will the 2009 NPP's fit my 2005 A4?
A: no
I don't have pictures of the 2009 but here are a set of 2008 installed on a 2006 using out "NPP in a Box" vacuum system. MORE ON NPP IN A BOX CLICK
Here is the complete process

In my case, throw in a set of LG headers, and you have rolling thunder at the flick of a switch. The combo of the headers and the NPP in Wild gives you AMAZING sound and “HEY, LOOK AT ME!!!” volume…the tonality and sound is that of a NASCAR stock car at WOT outside the car, yet quieter and less drone inside the car than the GHL exhaust I was so fond of. The install is very straight forward, easier with a lift, but as Ed has shown with his car, you can do it on jack stands. Here are some pics and descriptions of the step by step process; you will receive complete illustrated instructions with your purchase.
NPP Mufflers waiting for Install
Factory Exhaust Removed
Drilling a ¼” hole in the rear well
Run the Vacuum Tube though the hole
Run the Vacuum tubes through existing frame locations
After dropping the rear sway bar, snake the NPP mufflers up and over
Attach the pipes to the mufflers
Connect the vacuum hoses to the NPP mufflers
Make sure your muffler pipes are straight and level
Muffler hardware done and vacuum tubing run
Connect power cable to the Seat Heater Fuse
And of course, a quick run with Ed's Polishing kit
Nakidparts = NPP in a box
That's all there is to it.....All that's left is to go out there and have a blast with your new found customized sound.
Anyone know the GM option code for NPP exhaust on 08 coupe? I want to price a retro install kit from GM.
You don't want to use the GM parts for the vacuum, they will run you $100 more than my kit and you will still need a control switch. Our NPP in a box is much eaiser to install and comes with the wireless mild2wild built in
I had a NPP exhaust with my 2008 and liked the sound just fine...during cruising and hard acceleration...but the Callaway double D with the polished cover over the mufflers is absolutely beautiful and sounds aggressive with almost inconceivable resonance. I am very happy just wish I didn't spend the $ on the NPP before shipping to Callaway.
