Default Herding instinct, does it happen to you?

2 weekends ago we finally had a nice enough day to take a ride. We drove to one of our favorite parks in my area to take a walk. I decided to park the vette at the far end of one of the lots near where the park rangers and police park figuring no one would let their little brat put their candy stained paws all over the car. When we finished our walk and came back to the car low and behold there were 3 more vettes parked right next to mine. My wife thought it was hilarious. Does this phenomenon happen often?

Before I owned a vette I would hardly ever see any out on the road. Now that I have mine, it seems like I seem them EVERY where. As for the parking thing, Ive had one be parked next to me in the 'north 40' at 11pm at walmart.

I don't know that I've experienced a miraculous congregating of Corvettes but at the track we Corvette guys tend to hang together. OK I confess...there's one Porsche guy I like to hangout with too.

Confession is the first step toward redemption I'm told.

it has happened... but it's rare.

I live in DFW TX - you see vettes a modest amount of times here in Fort Worth, Z06's such as mine are rather rare though ive seen.

If there is an open space next to a fellow vette (any vintage) I of course park next to them, because it's always nice to see vettes lined up.

I'm retarded but i like to think when I'm inside whatever shop/place I'm at and parked next to a vette - when nobody is around they talk to each other and swap stories.

At the end of the day I'd rather be parked next to a fellow vette than some 17 year old kid with a riced out primer color honda that has dings/scratches all over it.

Hasn't happened to me, but I did park near a black C6 Z51 the other day at Lowe's. He was parked way out from the store where I like to park too. I gave him a "courtesy space" so I was two spots down from him. When I came back to my car he was gone, so he must have noticed me there when he came back to his car
