Default Removing side markers

I am having a hard time removing my front side markers. They don't seem to want to pop loose. I am afraid to pull to hard. Have any of you done this ? Need help.

Thanks in advance

Turn steering wheel to the far left. Remove push pins and small hex head screw from inner fender liner (in front of passenger side wheel) drop panel. reach in and push out lens and holder.

Turn steering wheel to far right. Repeat for driver's side.

Start at the front of the lens and push out. There are tabs, feel them first to see which direction to push or squeeze them. The front is the hardest part, the back will be easy.

You first need to remove the push-in pins at the leading edge of each wheelwell so you can reach in behind the side marker light. There are two tabs that you can feel. Push the front most tab forward while also pushing outward. When that pops loose, then pull the rear most tab backwards while also pushing outward. They are in there pretty tight, but they will come out.
