ipod connection
I have a new 09 vette. I also have a new ipod nano. I purchased a cord which has a wide end I plug into the ipod and the other goes into the aux jack by the radio. The radio display shows I am using an aux device but I have to sound. What am I doing wrong? Also, would like any info on pairing my cell phone to the car.

I just purchased another GM vehicle with this feature and a new nano as well, but I don't understand.
Mine hooks up to my car two ways.
One connection with a 3.5 stereo jack (aux in) and the other end 3.5 into the nano.
One connection with wide plug into nano and other end has USB which is plugged into the USB port on my radio.
You should be using the first on a Corvette.
Also, just follow the instructions in the owners manual for pairing up your device and it will work properly.

Is there a way to hook up an Ipod Nano to an '05 that doesn't have the jack? I thought I saw an adapter for sale, but didn't know if it was a universal type that would work on a C6. I've got the 6 CD unit.
