Front Corvette Emblem Removal
Don't crucify me, but did a search and couldn't find anything about this. What does the c6 look like w/o the front corvette emblem? Is the emblem glued on or did they drill through the bumper.
My emblem isn't water tight and moisture is collecting in it.

...The rear one comes right off with some fishing line, but the front one would require you to fill two holes and to repaint the bumper to fix it....have you tried a leaf blower on the front emblem after you wash your car? That should get rid of the water underneath...

To remove the front emblem, what is the best way to go about it?

You should be able to take them both off with fishing line. The two front pins are for location help only, they are not screws or bolts. If you start at the outside edges on the front one, you should be able to work around the pins enough to get the line through the middle to finish the job. Heating up the emblem really helps, so either do this in the sun on a hot day, or work with a hair dryer to soften the glue......

I wish they didn't have the guide pins. The Clearbra installer took my front one off to install the clearbra and I liked the look better without the emblem - except for the holes.

The easiest way is to use a piece of fishing line; start at one corner, working the line in behind the emblem, sawing back-n-fourth, in a down-ward direction. When you hit a pin ~ continue sawing with the line, working around the emblem/pin to maximize releasing the adhesive/emblem from the paint. At that point you should be able to lift the emblem up enough to either peel it completely off... or at least enough to slide the line back under the emblem (beyond the pin) continuing the process until you come to the next pin... repeat the process. Done
