Another chime question.
I posted this in another thread (it wasn't about the problem I have,,was about seat belt chimes) but don't know how many read it and if there's possibly someone here that knows why it happens,,,,,,sometimes,,not always,,,when I open the door to get in the car,,weather the door was locked in a parking lot or in my garage where its left un-locked,,,the chimes will be going off,,anyone know why this would happen? I always carrying my own fob,,not the 2nd one that came with the car. I don't leave a fob in the car,,,the 2nd fob is no where near the car,,,The biggest concern for me originally was the DBS,,I thought maybe something electrical was on while the car sat and it would kill the battery, (I know certain things are always on) but I really don't think thats of concern in this matter. Again what I am experiencing at times is that when I walk up to the car,,open the door,,it will chime continuiously til I start the car. It doesn't worry me,,just wondering why it does it at times.
