Well let's see, both are red, both are about the same profile, both are about the same distance away, hummm, I look at the Corvette first because I' a Corvette guy. the Ferrari is cool but the Corvette is what I can identify with. After I give the Corvette the once over I will be checking out the prancing horse.
OK, I'll give you all that the Corvette is a beautiful car......but if you've ever heard a Ferrari at WOT and shifting at redline -- it will simply give you goosebumps that take 5 minutes to go away. It is the most beautiful sound in the world -- a mechanical, angry WAIL that you have to hear to believe..........
Oh yea you're right...there is a Ferrari there. Imagine, parked right next to other cars too.

Granted, a Ferrari has a beautiful and unmistakable engine sound which no stock Corvette comes close to. There are, however, some modified Corvette's that sound 'as good' in their own way.
Unlike most I have actually driven a few Ferrari's, some many times. They are incredible sports cars, no doubt. They take curves and brake like no other. However, they SUCK as far as creature comforts are concerned. And, I doubt if you'll find many with 50, 60, 70 thousand miles on them. There is a reason for that....for the money you cannot, I repeat CANNOT beat our Corvette.
I love Ferraris and other exotics but would never own one due to the extremely high costs of owning one. I would have noticed the vette first also because I'm always looking for Vettes.
