I had to replace a fender and a 1/4 panel, and needed new tires. Insurance covered a couple grand (got hit), and my car in general had a bunch of scratches ('05 Z51). So I said f' it and did a ZR1 conversion and painted the whole car. About $10k total out of pocket. I feel like I have a new car.

Sir, I respectfully disagree. I admit the price is very tempting, but have you seen some of the pictures of the finished product on a Corvette? The body lines don't match, specifically the area running next to the hood and the fitment at the front bumper. I've had several people call me and purchase the originals because they were angry at the overall end product of the poser fenders.
