Default Does anyone know??

I had my check engine light thrown, how much should it cost to have a tuner take it off? Im not talking about a whole tune... just to have a tuner turn the light off... i dont want to get ripped off, so i just wanted a general idea before i go get it done.. thanks guys!!!

i've had it done. code was for loose gas cap. they turned it off, then i had to go to chevy to buy a new one

That's a warranty item if you're still in warranty.

I know for all the Chev trucks I've owned, Disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds should reset the light and erase any codes that were thrown. If it comes back on than there is likely a good reason for it. I haven't had to do this with the Vette but I can't see why it wouldn't work. Can't hurt to try, it only takes a minute. You'll have to re-index your windows but everything else will stay the same
