Default Blown away, wicked!!

Ok..............i am not alone here, and many have gone down this road I bet....i am a junior CF member. i have been on obsessively every day. Because I have committed to a DSOM C6 A6 Z51. I sat in it, in a garage in January ( to date I have never had a ride in one, and never drove one for that matter) The C6 was brought to my house today for a run. UNBELIEBABLE torque!!!! It will be in my possession in about 6 weeks..............Put it into S mode and she DID NOT have any lag or long period between engagement and feedback.........I cant imagine why there have been so many posts about the lag time between paddle shifts??? What an incredible incredible ride, YES the roof needs Dielectric grease.

With some custom tuning on the engine and tranny it will really knock your socks off.

Welcome to the family. I'm glad that you finally got a chance to take one for a ride. Now you can see what we are all excited about. Enjoy the new Corvette when you get it. I know that you will. Make sure you look around the forum and don't be afraid to ask questions, that's what we're here for.

There's still lag in the '08. If I am at WOT at 5500 and hit the up-shift button in 1st, it doesn't shift until it hits 6100. Sometimes it hits the rev-limiter. There is still lag, about 0.9 seconds. It is NOT what I'd call lag-free! JMHO.

One of several things I plan on changing once I pick my tuner hardware....

Congratulations! I understand from a couple guys that have the automatic/paddle-shift the lag problem was reduced but it still exists. The important thing is you're happy with it. Enjoy and drive safe!
