Default Hood issue, help requested.

I notice today that my hood on the driver side where it latches is up a bit compared to the right side. When I place pressure on the left side the hood travels down a bit, but the right side is snug. I can also see a gap between the hood and the fender from a little past the latch point to the tip of the left corner of the hood. Is there a wat to adjust this or is a trip to the dealer needed.

if you can spot it, the best way to adjust the hood is with the front hinges. it's easy to loosen and get the way you want it. If that doesn't work your can always put on one of the hoods we sell...

Rubber stops may need to be adjusted, latches may need to be adjusted. Both can be fairly easily adjusted by yourself with a trial and error approach until you get the panels to line up, however, I would recommend you let the dealer or a collision shop perform the adjustments for better panel alignment.

If there is an issue where it latches (near the windshield) you can adjust the height by the rubber stoppers on the underside of the hood near the points. They screw in and out to adjust the height. Out(counter clockwise) to raise the hood and in (clockwise) to lower it.

The car is new, let the dealer's body shop adjust it. Check for anything else that needs adjusting and get all taken care of in one trip. They should have done it before delivery anyway.
