The SRT4 is impressive for what it is, a 4 cyl inline turbo BUT the HP isn't there for acceleration and the handling isn't there for HPDE or even autocross.
I had an SRT4 Neon, 270FWHP/300TQ and it was a fun car but it was still a 4dr Neon w/front wheel drive. Even modded like mine was the only 'Vette's I could outrun were 70's era smallblocks.
Unless Dodge dude is Jimmy Johnson and you're Ted Kennedy, the Corvette will always prevail...even in a race to the barber for dude to get his mullet trimmed.

I have rented a Dodge Caliber. Its most outstanding feature is that you can keep drinks cool. To compare a Corvette and a Caliber is silly. I would compare a Caliber SRT to a Cobalt SS.

Haha thanks for the replies guys. I really got a good laugh, theres no way that Caliber has a chance against the vette. I would like to show him these replies and see what he does to defend himself haha. What a joke..
STOCK VS. STOCK. The C6 would dominate and destroy that SRT4. Ive out-ran bolt on SRT4 calibers with a stock, automatic LS2 GTO which is slower than any C6.
Tell him to go out and get an SRT8 car and he might have a chance if you mess up your run.

Go online with him there and pull the HP ratings, car weights, 1/4 mile times, and 0-60 times for both cars (Or he can pull them from any web site he can find if he would like). With the numbers on the screen right in front of him, ask him why he thinks the SRT will win.
Message to the Op- You need to find smarter people to hang with. Dont even give him the time of day. All hes looking for is a reaction from you and hes getting it.
