Default Lug Nuts Size

I was trying to buy a wrench to open the nuts and it appears that the Imperial one I bought (smallest size on it was 3/4") is not the right size.

I did a search here and even read the manual but there is no mention of the size.

Everything is in metric sizes...for the lug nuts you need a 19mm deep socket.

Default lug nuts

Just bought a socket for my torque wrench found out it's metric 19mm on standard c6 wheel.

3/4" works also.

3/4 inch is 19.05 mm, so a 3/4 wrench is almost the same as a 19 mm wrench. Either one will work. The 19 mm one will fit a little tighter.

Thanks, so it is normal to feel a little play? I am worried that I might damage the nuts' finish.
