Your dealer should be able to give you one of these numbers and this list will let you know where in the system it is and how truthful they are being with you. The order will also have a TPW assigned which is the target production week. What they can't tell you exactly is when it is going to arrive. That depends on Allied transportation and the amount of cars they have headed to your area. They will hold the car until they have a full truck headed to your area.

Also, are you getting a GT1 or Competition Sport special edition? If so, then it will have to go from the factory to the upfitter to have the striping applied. I found that adds another week at least (it added a month for me as apparently they didn't have the materials to do the striping in stock). Fortunately, the plant shutdowns do not affect the striping process (since it's not done by GM employees).
My car (GT1 Special Edition) was built the week of 4/15 and completed by the plant on 4/21. The striping wasn't completed until last Thursday, and it's now finally ready to ship. Just waiting now for full truck heading my way from BG.

It shows delivered to customer as the dealer and I closed the deal in April to take advantage of the April $1000 rebate incentive (at the time, we assumed the car was done and ready to ship - GM showed an estimated delivery date of 4/29 at the time).
All the other Bayed/Shipped events is the car shipping between the Assembly plant and the upfitter where the striping was applied.
It's now finally Bayed for actual shipment to me.
According to Allied, it should be going out on a truck early this week (hopefully by tomorrow so it might be here by this weekend).

Dealer checked this afternoon - wasn't shipped yet. Hoping it goes out tomorrow (at least the plant is operating this week, so there's a good chance there will be enough cars to fill a truck sometime this week).
